Shannon Shipe is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 12 years of clinical experience and over nine years specializing in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy and aesthetic injectables.

She founded Optimized Balance & Beauty to create the kind of practice she believed patients deserved: personalized, unhurried care that considers the whole person instead of treating an isolated symptom or concern.

As a hormone specialist in Lake Wylie, SC, Shannon works with women and men experiencing concerns such as fatigue, poor sleep, brain fog, mood changes, low libido, weight changes, and other symptoms that may be connected to hormonal imbalance. Jen Musgrave is the Office Manager at Optimized Balance & Beauty. She helps create a warm, organized, and welcoming experience for every patient, from the first phone call or message through each visit.

Jen helps patients with scheduling, practice information, and the details that keep every appointment running smoothly. Her friendly and attentive approach reflects the practice’s commitment to making each person feel comfortable, valued, and cared for.

Meet Jessica Hale, Licensed Aesthetician
Jessica Hale is a licensed aesthetician with more than 25 years of experience in the skin care and aesthetics industry. She provides customized facials and advanced skin treatments inside The Optimized Skin Loft, located upstairs at Optimized Balance & Beauty.

Jessica’s approach to skin care is personal, educational, and results-focused. She takes time to evaluate each client’s skin type, current concerns, comfort level, lifestyle, and long-term goals before recommending a treatment or professional skin care regimen.

Her services include customized facials, dermaplaning, chemical peels, microneedling, and personalized ZO® Skin Health recommendations. Each treatment supports healthier, smoother, more radiant-looking skin while respecting each client's needs.
